ASCOR
General Features
ASCOR (Administration System for the Corrugated Industry) is a modular system for store administration or material flow control.
The scope of delivery includes the following elements:
- Operating System Windows 2003 Server
- SQL Data Base ( Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Sybase SQL Anywhere, etc. )
- ASCOR Client/Server System (up to 32 Client Installations without licence)
- Interface Cards to other systems (e.g. PLC Level, WPA, ISDN, etc.)
- Complete Installation of the system and training
ASCOR is installed on the operating system Microsoft Windows 2000 or on a higher version, the Data Base Administration System (DBMS) and all necessary software are included.
PC and PLC communicate by means of Siemens Profibus or ProfiNet.
It is possible to install interfaces to almost all planning systems. The planning systems supply detailed order information and the so-called requirement lists for the converting machines.
ASCOR Framework is the base for all ASCOR Modules. Dücker Automation developed these modules by using the most recent Microsoft Tools.
ASCOR is a 3-level Client/Server System.
The system can work with up to 32 clients and even more, if necessary. The Client Software is licence free and can be installed on Client Workstations being equipped with the Operating System Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows 2000.
All ASCOR Systems have the same intuitive graphical user surface. This simplifies considerably the handling of the different ASCOR Modules for the operator.
ASCOR offers all functions for operating an automatic system with a minimum of operator interventions. Furthermore, ASCOR offers a wide range of functions for data visualization and processing.
